MEET OUR FACILITATORS for summer 2025

Jillian

Hi! My name is Jillian and this is my second year at Volunteen. I graduated last spring with a bachelor of Arts at the University of Manitoba, majoring in psychology. Next year I am planning to do my masters degree. A fun fact about me is that I can play the piano and violin and I love listening to music. I am looking forward to meeting everyone and having fun this summer!

Elizabeth

Hello! My name is Elizabeth, and I am the person in charge this year. This is my third year at VolunTeen, but I came as a student many many years ago. I love music, and exploring new parts of the city. I can’t wait to get to know you all, see you soon :)

Harlyn

Hey everyone! I’m Harlyn and I’m so pumped to be joining you as a VolunTeen facilitator for the very first time! I’m currently in my third year at the University of Manitoba, working toward my dream of becoming a teacher! I can’t wait to meet all of you, and have an unforgettable, fun-packed summer together!

Hi my name is Miranda and this is my second year at VolunTeen. I just finished off my second year of education at the University of Winnipeg. I’m also studying a BA in English. Throughout the year I teach dance to kids at my studio and also planning on going back this year to dance as well. One of my favourite hobbies is running and I’ve finished 3 marathons so far. I also enjoy reading in the summer and playing with my dog. I’m so excited to be at volunteen again this year.

Hello, I’m Caitlin! :) I’m studying to become a teacher at the University of Manitoba, and am majoring in English. This is my first year with VolunTeen. I enjoy reading all kinds of books, watching live music, and doing activities outside like hiking . I’m really excited to meet everyone and spend the summer helping out in our local communities!
