VolunTeen is a free, weeklong summer program for students entering grades 7-12 within River East Transcona School Division. Our summer program gives these students the opportunity to gain various experiences in our community, volunteerism, leadership, teamwork, and job skills! Join VolunTeen and explore a variety of volunteer opportunities in Winnipeg such as Manitoba Harvest, Siloam Mission, The Winnipeg Humane Society, all while making new friends! After a week full of hard work and volunteering, VolunTeens will be given a Certificate of Participation to indicate their completion of the program, along with new skills and experiences they can add to their future resumes!
