IMPORTANT NOTE:
The program will be held in-person, and while we do not require proof of vaccination, some of our volunteer placements may require that volunteers are fully vaccinated and possess a QR code and ID while at their organization.
WHAT IS
VOLUNTEEN?
VolunTeen is a free, weeklong, summer program that provides students entering Grades 7–12 within River East Transcona School Division the opportunity to gain various experiences in volunteerism, leadership, teamwork, community, job skills, and everything else in between!
There may also be the possibility for a weekly special event for the students to register for. The students would come together to participate in various activities such as vision boards, yoga, community appreciation walks, and many other possibilities! Transportation cannot be provided for special event days. All social distancing and COVID-19 protocols will be strictly adhered to.
Each Friday the students will be given a Certificate of Participation to indicate their completion of
the program.
